Bee Ing, Lim (Director, South East Asia Centre) 

An alumnus of Manchester Business School herself, Bee Ing is responsible for overseeing the school's activities in South East Asia and managing the MBS alumni programme. Bee Ing has more than 12 years of general management experiences in the education sector.

Bee Ing spent her early days of her career in finance and banking sector as a corporate banker. She was involved in originating, underwriting, structuring and closing direct and syndicated loans with corporate and large middle market companies.

She currently holds an MBA from Manchester Business School and Bachelor of Arts (Economics and Political Science) from the National University of Singapore. She has also completed an Executive Diploma programme in Company Directorship, jointly conducted by the Singapore Management University and the Singapore Institute of Directors.
 

Margaret Teo (Manager)

Margaret is the Centre Manager for S.E. Asia Centre.  She oversees and manages a team of dedicated professionals committed to achieving high levels of student retention and customer satisfaction, resulting in successful completion of the Global MBA programme.  Her responsibilities expanded to cover PEI compliance and procuring course materials for global network of centres.

She had over 13 years of working experience in the education sector, from the professional accountancy body in Singapore prior to joining MBS in 2000.

She holds a Bachelor of Science in Management (2nd Upper Honours) degree, from the National University of Ireland, Dublin.

 

Judy Gan (Career Advisory & External Relations)

Judy manages the Postgraduate Careers Service for all Global MBA students regionally, and supports students from other regions seeking opportunities; focusing on career guidance sessions, events and initiatives that develop the students as outstanding mid to senior level professionals. In addition, she is responsible for driving alumni engagement; raising the centre’s profile through developing external relations; and leading a variety of events and activities that reach out to students, alumni, and corporate partners around the region.

Prior to joining MBS, Judy had over a decade of marketing and communications experience. She is an accredited life coach with the International Coach Federation; holds a Graduate Certificate in Communications from Harvard University, and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Boston University.

 

 

Foong Siao Thong (Marketing & Admissions)

Siao Thong is responsible for driving marketing and admissions for the Global MBA programmes in Southeast Asia region.  She provides personalised consultations to mid and senior executives looking for professional and personal development through higher learning. 

She has 3 years of working experience prior to joining MBS. Previously a recruiter, she is experienced in the talent acquisition and talent management industry. Siao Thong graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Economics from Nanyang Technological University. 

 

Luke Wang (Corporate Relations)

Luke is responsible for growing corporate business opportunities for MBS and promoting Executive Education programmes in the SE Asia region. His duties also include managing special projects for MBA and other academic programmes. 

Prior to joining MBS, Luke spends more than 8 years of working experience in the banking and engineering sectors. He currently holds an MBA from Simon Business School, University of Rochester and Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering from the National University of Singapore.

 

Soo Kwok Heng

Soo Kwok Heng (Marketing & Admissions)

Kwok Heng manages and executes the marketing and communications activities for the S.E. Asia Centre. These activities aim at building the brand awareness of the Manchester Business School by reaching out to mid and senior executives looking to foster an edge in their careers through postgraduate education.

Prior to joining MBS, Kwok Heng spent six years planning and executing marketing and communications in sectors like trade shows, healthcare and education. He holds a Bachelor of Arts from the National University of Singapore in Political Science.

 

 
Christine Kartika (Student Advisor)

Christine is part of the committed Singapore Student Advisory team, providing dedicated support and general programme administration to Global MBA students in Singapore, and around the S.E. Asia region.

She had more than 8 year work experience prior to joining MBS in 2010. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Melbourne, Australia.


Janice Yam (Student Advisor)

Janice is part of the committed Student Advisory team, providing dedicated support to students in Singapore and S.E. Asia region.  Her responsibilities also include office general administration, supporting the admissions and registration process, as well as the workshop directors and visitors.  

She had more than 12 years of work experience in the education service industry prior to joining MBS 2006.

Rina Lee (Finance)

Rina is responsible for all finance and accounting activities for the centre, as well as administrative functions of Singapore and S.E. Asia region.

She had more than 15 years of work experience in finance prior to joining MBS in 2011.  She holds an ACCA qualification.
